On behalf of the UK-based Office of Health Economics, Scenarium contributed to their delivery of an evidence-based assessment of the current state of cancer services across the EU, including detailed comparisons of services, resource levels and socioeconomic values within a chosen subset of EU countries. This included the value of new and innovative cancer interventions, including immuno-oncology therapies, in comparison to existing cancer treatments. Analyses of the relative levels of resourcing of cancer versus other major therapy areas were undertaken and combined with the assessment of cancer services to produce a set of specific forward looking policy recommendations aimed at improving cancer care across the EU. Scenarium covered the research about the state of cancer services as delivered in Germany.
